Stuff I figured out the hard way

Hey there! Welcome to my little corner of the internet.

I'm an engineer who's spent the better part of a decade working across cloud infrastructure, automation, DevOps, and various other domains. This site is where I document the interesting problems I encounter in my daily work and the solutions I've cobbled together along the way.

Why this site?

Why does this site exist? Mostly for me, honestly. I kept solving the same problems over and over, forgetting how I did it the last time. So I started writing things down. Turns out, if I'm going to document it anyway, I might as well put it somewhere others might find useful too.

What's here

What will you find here? A mix of things - tutorials on cloud stuff (AWS, GCP), automation scripts that saved me hours of manual work, infrastructure patterns that actually work in production, and the occasional deep dive into something I found fascinating enough to write about.

Fair warning: these are my personal notes and opinions. I try to be accurate, but I'm definitely not always right. If you spot something wrong or have a better way, I'd love to hear about it.

Let's chat

By the way, I'm always happy to chat with folks who are stuck on a problem or just want to bounce ideas around. Whether you're wrestling with some gnarly infrastructure issue, trying to figure out the best way to automate something, or just want to talk shop - drop me a line. No pressure, no sales pitch, just a friendly conversation. Sometimes a fresh pair of eyes (or ears) is all you need to get unstuck.

If any of this helps you solve a problem or saves you some time, that's awesome. Feel free to reach out through the contact form - I'd love to hear from you.

Happy hacking!
